Shipping & Delivery

From our hands to their mailbox, with care.

A seed packet isn't a package — it's a small, hopeful thing. Here's how it gets to the person you're thinking of.

You pick the mail date, not the arrival date

When you order, you choose the day we mail the envelope. Need it to land around a birthday, a new job, or a hard week? Pick the date that means something — we'll put it in the mail that day.

(Choose up to 90 days out. The earliest we can mail is the next available mailing date — shown as "Ships: …" on the order form. We never promise same-day mailing.)

How it travels

Every envelope goes out via USPS First-Class Mail, and most gifts arrive within about 2–6 business days after we mail it. A little slower than a text, a lot more permanent. Delivery timing is estimated and may take longer during holidays, severe weather, or postal disruptions.

Where we ship

We currently ship to the contiguous 48 states and Washington, DC. Seeds are agricultural material, so we're deliberately starting close to home: Hawaii, Alaska, U.S. territories, and military (APO/FPO) destinations each have their own agricultural inspection and mailing requirements, which we're working through before turning them on. At the moment we're a US-only shop — no international shipping just yet. We're expanding as we verify each destination.

What if it takes a while?

Gifts are sent as First-Class Mail letters, so they don't come with package-style tracking — instead, we'll email you when your gift has been mailed. If a gift hasn't arrived within 10 business days of its mail date, just email us at hello@heyplantthis.com and we'll make it right. No forms, no fuss.

Sending a lot of them?

For bulk and corporate orders — welcome kits, client gifts, team moments — we offer custom pricing and personalization. Take a look at our Send Many page, or write to us at hello@heyplantthis.com and we'll take it from there.

Someone could use something to look forward to.
