How to Grow
Five steps to something green.
Sow
Plant seeds about ¼-inch deep, directly in soil or a container.
Water
Keep the soil consistently moist while seeds germinate.
Give it light
Aim for about 4–6 hours of sun. Some afternoon shade can help in warm weather.
Thin & grow
Once seedlings emerge, thin them to roughly 4–6 inches apart for larger plants.
Harvest
Start picking young outer leaves when they're a few inches long. Leave the center growing and it'll keep giving.
Arugula grows FAST. You can often start harvesting baby leaves in about 3–4 weeks.
Get Growing
